Fuel Syndicate

HILL AND VALLEY FUEL SYNDICATE

Fuel syndicates have become a widespread and proven idea in rural areas with large groups of people purchasing their oil through one supplier and achieving cheaper prices through economies of scale. The Hill and Valley Syndicate has been started so that residents within the parishes can buy cheaper oil without losing any convenience they may have from their current supplier.

The syndicate works on the basis that you receive a syndicate number upon joining (it is totally free) and then when you require oil you can check the fuel price offered by the syndicate either on the village notice boards or on the village websites, then call the fuel company directly that is currently supplying the oil to the syndicate and place your order as you would normally.

If you believe you have a cheaper supplier elsewhere, there is nothing to stop you ordering oil through them, but please let me know and I will review our supplier accordingly. You are not committed in any way to the syndicate.

Benefits of the syndicate include cheaper oil, the ability to buy oil in smaller quantities while still getting the same price as larger amounts, setting up monthly payments to spread the payments throughout the year, oil delivered in the normal delivery timeframe, a smaller carbon footprint due to a more coordinated approach to delivery, as well as benefitting from decent discounts on boiler and central heating maintenance from the supplier.
